Packaging Technician
Wheelhouse Labs is seeking a Packaging Technician responsible for packaging all product in preparation for sale. The ideal candidate is someone with the ability to demonstrate proficiency, organization and attention to detail. Packaging Technicians report directly to the Post Production and Inventory Control Manager.
Job Responsibilities
Sort cured plant material in accordance with established guidelines and policies.
Meet or exceed daily goals and production standards.
Responsible for proper use and maintenance of designated equipment.
Accurately weigh cannabis into various denominations of packaging.
Apply labels and tamper seals.
Assemble shipping boxes and partitions.
Assist new or less experienced personnel in the performance of their duties.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Comply with all company policies including confidentiality and nondisclosure.
Maintain OSHA standards, safety and protocols.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Role Requirements
Experience in the cannabis industry preferred.
Willingness to learn and improve.
Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task.
Adapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast paced environment.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
Must pass all required background checks.
